In October 1992 in Boitekong Ext 2 and 6, BAMTA was formed when residents of Boitekong wanted to form their own Association after operating in the Kanana Taxi association. Through many challenges we have managed to prevail and managed to have BAMTA to the level it today.

We have seen an increase with new members and an increase in the number of taxis that are under BAMTA, thus affording our customers safe and timeous mode transport to-and-from their destinations. We will strive to be a benchmark to other associations and lead the way in developing ourselves through strategic partnerships.

Over the years, through trust and excellent service delivery; we have built a relationships with our customers and surrounding communities. We pride ourselves in supporting other organisations that take care of our community. Our association has community development programms in place and also supports skills transfer.
